The doors to our Bali based factory are always open. Whether you would like to see how we work, check out some of our latest collections or for a simple hello, we would love to welcome you and show you around.
Unlike most other labels, we don’t work with agents or third party manufacturers somewhere on the other side of the world. We produce all our clothing in our own Bali based factory. That’s the key to our success.
Each Tulle and Batiste piece is personally designed by myself and my small team of pattern makers. Our purposely trained and highly skilled artisans produce each Tulle and Batiste garment by hand, with lots of love and care for detail and quality.
We will never produce Tulle and Batiste anywhere else than in our own factory. Utilising local resources and talent is embedded in the moral compass of our brand. As Tulle and Batiste continues to scale, we will continue to support our community and Bali’s economy from within. In many ways, the beautiful spirit of Bali runs through each Tulle and Batiste hand made piece, making each garment truly special and unique.
Designing and creating beautiful clothing alone isn’t enough. We value doing the right thing and want to feel good about everything we touch. That means we work ethically. From the fabrics we use, to how we design and make and deliver our garments. We think about every impact our business has. And it’s with the greater aim of minimising our environmental footprint.
The fact that you’ve found your way here shows that you care, even just a little, about where your support goes. And so you should.
At Tulle and Batiste, it’s not just about the clothes and it never has been. We are trying to create a positive change through our brand for those who want to live an authentic life. We are constantly taking steps to improve our environmental and ethical processes, so Tulle and Batiste can be as sustainable as possible. It is an enormous operation, but we are proud to share our journey with you.
We are proud supporters of slow fashion, which is why we design clothing intended to last. The clothes we love wearing most will last longer with good care. We are not followers of trends, I design and create whatever and whenever I want.
Here at Tulle and Batiste, we believe we do our best work when we are happy, healthy and inspired. From offering flexible vacations and full health benefits to getting everyone together for office birthdays and outings, we strive to make working at Tulle and Batiste a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle, not just a job.

Tulle and Batiste plays homage to the unique mystical empire of Bohemia. Designed for those who are charmed by Bohemia’s mental fairyland, as there are no roads in all of Bohemia. Where one must choose and find one’s own path, be one’s own self, love one’s own life.
After having operated a successful garment factory in Bali, producing the collections of some major Australian fashion labels since 2007, I finally decided to launch my own label Tulle and Batiste in the autumn of 2015.
With extensive knowledge in pattern making, print, dyeing, design and illustration, quality and control and packing for export, the Tulle and Batiste collections are all made in-house in my own garment factory here on the beautiful island of Bali.
Tulle and Batiste is stocked online, in our Bali boutique and in selected shops worldwide. Become one of the family and feel what it’s like to wear Tulle and Batiste.
We use rayon for most of our ranges and never stray far from this fabric. Not only is the hand-feel incredibly soft, the weight of it hangs gently from the body, putting comfort and timelessness hand-in-hand.
This breathable fibre is made from regenerated wood pulp – a manmade renewable plant material that is a natural cellulose-based raw fibre with a silk-like aesthetic and a soft drape. An added bonus is that is uses half the energy to produce than cotton, enabling us to tread a little lighter on our Earth. Reducing our footprint on the planet is important to us.
Tulle and Batiste believes in giving back and we are proud supporters of the local communities in Indonesia.
As a business, we understand our responsibility to give back to our community. We focus our charitable efforts on causes that we really care about. We are proud to support several children and women’s education and economic stability programs in Indonesia and we actively support our Bali dog rehabilitation and adoption program. Currently we house 18 dogs and 9 cats at home and in our dog-friendly office and factory.
Every year clothing companies are left with a bunch of extra product - and we are no exception. Instead of selling all of these pieces at a discount or throwing them away, we donate unsold clothes to non-profit organisations and charities that help local Indonesian families achieve economic independence. This past year, we have donated to the victims of the volcanic eruptions in Bali and the earthquakes in Lombok and Sulawesi.
